1) Napoleon Was Short
While he wasn’t the tallest, it is incorrect to term the man as short and go on to assume that his lust for power and conquest was fuelled by his lack of height. "Le Petit Caporal" was rather of average height when compared to others in the country but he was smart enough to recruit tall and lofty men as his soldiers. Clearly I would not fit that grade, but according to the time period the average height was 5’6’’ and he was 5’6’’ not 5’2’’ and then again his soldiers that surrounded the dwarf, above 6 feet tall. Now if you are short and want to conquer the world, don’t go on thinking you have the Napoleon Complex.

2) Body Hair Grows Back Thicker When You Shave It
Nope. It doesn’t happen. As much as you would like to believe it and “Get your MARD on”, it just does not happen. If that were true, balding men ( ahem Wayne Rooney, Himesh bhai!) would not undergo expensive hair transplant operations but just keep on shaving. Basically, shaved hair feels coarse and that leads you to believe it's thicker. In reality you're just fooling yourself and your hair remains the same.

3) Mount Everest Is The Tallest Mountain in the World.
There are two mountains that could claim the title of the world's tallest. The summit of Mount Everest is higher above sea level than the summit of any other mountain, but Mauna Kea is the tallest when measured from base to summit. Not bad eh? The grand prize goes to Mauna Kea if you ask me. So, your whole childhood was a lie? Not entirely but when you consider the fact : Mauna Kea's summit is at 13,796 feet (4,205 meters) above sea level, but it extends about 19,700 feet (6000 meters) below the water's surface. Therefore, its total height is 33,500 feet (10,210 meters), nearly a mile taller than Mount Everest, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS); it shows Mauna Kea > Mount Everest.

4) Urinating on a Jellyfish Sting will Soothe the Pain
Remember the “Friends” episode where Monica is stung by a jellyfish and Joey remembers that urinating on it soothes the pain? Well there are numerous movies that have done the same. The real fact is that this is not the case. As explained by Mark Leyner and Dr. Billy Goldberg :
The following guideline can be applied to most jellyfish stings: The patient should remove any visible tentacles, using gloves if possible. The area of the sting should be rinsed with household vinegar. The acetic acid of the vinegar can block discharge of the remaining nematocysts (stinging cells) on the skin and should be applied liberally. If vinegar is not available, salt water can be used to wash off the nematocysts. In laboratory tests, urine, ammonia, and alcohol can cause active stinging cells to fire, which means applying them has the potential to make a minor sting worse, so urinating on a jellyfish sting is both gross and painful.
So let’s make it a point of not peeing on anyone, shall we until you are a baby, then you’re allowed to do anything.

5) Thomas Edison Invented The Lightbulb
Well, he did not invent it, but gave us the commercial version that was durable enough. Like most inventions, Edison wasn’t the first one to think of it no matter what Ishaan Nandkishore Awasthi says in the movie Taare Zameen Par. In 1809, Englishman Humphry Davy created an arc lamp. A decade later, Warren de la Rue built the first sealed light bulb and in 1840, William Robert Grove lit an entire room of lamps. Unfortunately, the products were expensive and with not enough durability. 3 patents later, Edison expanded on these ideas to create a longer-lasting, cheaper product. So, he did not invent the light bulb.
