There was once a table full of opinionated people with whom I was conversing and the topic of music came around. I write about music not because it is nonchalantly easy, far from it but because my boss likes it. Okay, so Valentine’s Day is here. The amount of couples you’d see outside on this god forsaken annoying day would have tripled than the usual. So, it’s the time of the year where people either decide to approach their crushes or choose to just sit around in their rooms. As you all would have made it out by the title of this article, I would like to share couple of my favorite romantic songs. No Taylor Swift bullshit (I do like her, but sometimes its just arghh!!) or John Mayer stuff, well most of them aren’t, they are upbeat and fun to listen to. Believe me when I say that it was hard for me to hand pick these songs out, there were just too many options!
15) Maria Maria – Carlos Santana
Any song with Santana playing guitar in it, has to be incredible. The Spanish guitar sets the mood perfectly. The lyrics in between at times don’t make much sense though, but the guitar solo certainly undermines the lyrics. Give it a shot!
