“If I have to give up my post as CM and my life for this country I will consider myself fortunate.” - Arvind Kejriwal; addressing his supporters at AAP HQ.
Last night (14-Feb-2014, Friday), Mr. Arvind Kejriwal after a short stint as CM (49 days) handed over his resignation to LG of Delhi after the Jan Lokpal Bill was not allowed to be tabled. The Congress and BJP did not allow the bill to be tabled stating that voting on such a bill without the permission of Central Government is unconstitutional. Most probably Delhi is now headed towards a re-election following presidential rule, which will be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha elections.
