The power of social media has brought out a lot of closet 'budget experts' who have stressed on how good or bad the budget was, we thought we would tell you what it means to YOU! We make it simplistic.

by Dheeraj Nanduri Let me first elucidate on what I think of Indian politics. For starters, quoting Shakespeare, I believe All the world’s a stage and politics of India to be one of the Oscar winning performances. It not only includes verbal jousting but also a lot physical demonstrations (As witnessed in Kejriwal’s campaigning this year).
I sometimes wonder how there is so much passion in these candidates while fighting in the elections to serve the country and nothing shows after them being nominated. by Dheeraj Nanduri The voting day for Indian elections is just a couple of days away. I am pretty sure, that despite all the stuff you see in your news feed on Facebook, you would definitely come across various (or at least one) new posts every day; posts that show promises of the major parties and abuses against one another. If you carefully ever cared to read through them, you would have definitely come across news that politicians were arrested because of abusing another politician too. I really don’t know whether to laugh at their intellect or cry at the sad state of our country.
by Kashish Sharma Trending conspiracy theories relating to the disappearance of MH370:
- Plane crash in mid-air - Terrorist Hijack - North Koreans - Vortex/Portal/New Bermuda Triangle - Alien Abduction - Eerie Disappearance - Grand Illusion It’s been 5 days since the Malaysian Airlines MH370 has gone MIA on the whole world. More than ten countries are currently in the pursuit of searching that Boeing. Disappearance of 230 passengers is truly tragic but it’s definitely astounding that in an era where missing phones can be tracked using simple apps, a 777 Boeing cannot. As expected from our TMZ generation, everyone is inquisitive and this untamed curiosity is giving birth to various different conspiracy theories. So for all the douchebags out there who are derailing here from the bigger picture, let’s take a look at some trending theories. by Kashish Sharma There has been no escalation in the Crimean crisis since Russia’s threat to Ukraine. The tensions in the Slavic region have quickly rippled on to the west. Sovereignty of a nation shouldn’t be compromised and Ukraine’s has definitely been violated. Russia has taken a firm stance and is nowhere ready to give up on Crimea. Vladmir Putin not just invaded Ukraine, but also sent a strong message to the West. Russia has displayed its total independence from any Western nation on this matter by discarding Western authority. The dynamics of the region have definitely changed and Russia has made sure that everyone knows, that the big red bear is still capable of pawing.
by Dheeraj Nanduri It was confirmed earlier today that the Malaysian Airlines flight has crashed into the sea 153 miles off the coast of Vietnam.
The plane consisted of 227 passengers (including 2 infants). Flight 370, as it was called was operated on a Boeing 777-200ER which began operating in 2002. This was Singapore Airlines’ official statement: by Kashish Sharma The head of Russia's Black Sea Fleet Aleksander Vitko set the deadline and also threatened two warships, Ukrainian officials said. - BBC For the past couple of days, conflict between Russia and Ukraine has definitely been highlighted the most. The matters however seem to have gotten worse as Russians demand Ukraine's forces in Crimea to surrender. Until dawn of Tuesday, Russia threatens Ukraine to surrender or face heavy assault.
Russians claim that chaos caused in Crimea is due to the ultra-nationalists who threaten the country's prosperity. While no shots have yet been fired, Ukraine has ordered a full mobilization. While The Kremlin claims that they are protecting the human rights in Crimea, Western Europe and US disagree completely. The pro-Russians have taken control over several Government buildings in Crimea. Crimea is a pro-Russian region of southern Ukraine, which at this point might be the front-lines of this unprecedented disastrous event. The ousted President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych fled to Russia while he insists that he is to remain the legitimate elected leader of Ukraine. Russia has currently spread its influence over the Crimea region. "US State Department says it is preparing to put sanctions on Russia" - BBC The Russian Rouble is taking a hard hit against the US Dollar and Euro. Evidently, the Western retaliation has started, at this point economically but it might escalate pretty soon. by Dheeraj Nanduri The social sciences textbooks, all pre-2014 will contain wrong data henceforth as India has allowed the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to form the new state of ‘Telangana’. A fun fact, Telangana actually existed before 1951, which was in control of the Nizams and it was considered as the Hyderabad state. Later it joined Andhra Pradesh. After a brief while, around 1969, protests began to emerge that Telengana has to be declared as a separate state.
by Mohamed Zeeshan We're only months away from the grandest democratic exercise on earth. On the 31st of May this year, the Lower House of the Indian Parliament (or the 15th Lok Sabha) shall be ending its five year term. On the 1st of June, India would have a new batch of parliamentarians, unless anomalous political complexities were to emerge.
India held its first ever Parliamentary Elections in 1952, and there has never been a more breathtaking political spectacle on show since. But of all the elections gone by in the past, none perhaps have aroused national talk as much as the one that is unfolding this year. A large part of that is because of the advent of the electronic media which, enhanced by the wonders of the internet, has made India far more connected than ever before. There is debate, discussion, even dissent in political public discourse today from all corners of the spectrum. by Dheeraj Nanduri What comes to your mind immediately when you think about Syria? Yes, a lot. 99% nothing pleasant too. Let me now introduce you to one more thing. Eleven thousand prisoners were eliminated by the Syrian government in duration of about two years i.e. from March 2011 to August 2013. All the prisoners were eliminated by “Systematic killing” as it is being referred to as now in Assad jails.
