By Philip Joseph Microsoft is a company that has seen only two people take charge of the top executive office in the 38 years of its existence. The first being co-founder Bill Gates, who helped build this company from scratch to the most powerful company in the world at the break of the new millennium. The market value, at this point, was a jaw dropping $558 billion. Gates formally stepped down and gave way to fellow Harvard-man Steve Ballmer, his successor, in January 2000. There are a lot of speculated reasons for him leaving and one being the fact that he was growing tired of the government wanting to break the company up as a result of an antitrust trial. Gates officially says he stepped down to play a more active role in the tech division and focus more on his philanthropic ventures along with his wife Melinda.

Months after launching the iTunes, in a low key event, Steve Jobs famously walked on to the stage introducing iPod and the world was stunned. iPod along with iTunes became the best investment for any music lover. iPod not only became the best music player, but also became a trend, a fashion statement and a must have music accessory all over the world.
By Eshwar Nag Microsoft is at a crucial stage right now with a lot of impending changes. They have just finished the launch of the XBOX One, Windows 8.1 some time ago and have acquired Nokia’s Devices and services division recently. Their CEO Steve Ballmer has announced retirement and the Redmond Giant is hunting for its new CEO. The bigger changes are however, Microsoft wanting to become a Devices and Services company along with its ‘One Microsoft' initiative.
Microsoft's divisions like Office, Windows, XBOX and Skype have always been separate from one another with not a lot of collaboration with each other. The outgoing CEO has decided to change this. The 'One Microsoft' initiative is said to bring all the divisions of Microsoft closer and build services that collaborate with each other and work together as an ecosystem for greater speed and efficiency. There are already signs of this happening with Windows PCs, Windows Tablets, Windows Phone and XBOX One. And on the hardware front, the introduction of Surface Tablets and the acquisition of Nokia only emphasizes the fact the Microsoft wants to build its own hardware like Apple. by Dheeraj Nanduri When was the last time you looked up at the ceiling of your bedroom and wondered about living in the outer space, maybe not to the Superman or Thor level but something like Skywalker level (Star wars)?
Well that’s pretty much going to come true in a decade. Mars One mission is a non-profit organization founded in the Netherlands and they have decided to establish Human settlement on Mars by sending the first set of humans, four in number, to Mars. by Phillip Joseph LimeWire and Ares were both free P2P ( peer-to-peer) file sharing client programs that ran on almost any OS that supported Java software platforms back in the day and almost solely supported the idea of media file sharing. You made an inquiry or two and you got what you needed without paying a cent to the artist or the production house. These people, however bloated their pockets might be, most likely toiled over months or years to make an 80mb file which you and I downloaded at 20kbps and waited for probably an hour to get our hands on and immerse ourselves in its goodness.

Artyom returns for another adventure in the Metro system underneath Moscow, the only place that escaped the radiation following a catastrophic nuclear war. The series based on the Metro 2033 & Metro 2034 Novels are written by Dmitry Glukhovsky, (The books are pretty awesome BTW) the sequel to the game Metro 2033 follows the story of the yet to be released Metro 2035 and takes us to a whole slew of new locations and environments with a new roster of bigger and badder enemies to kill and blow up. The story keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout the entire journey. And 4A games’s implementation of its amazing new engine lets you completely immerse yourself into the world. You feel like a part of it. A truly surreal experience. by Divyam Arora After a long wait, the latest version of Android was finally released this Wednesday.
