The FIFA World Cup is fast approaching and the world cup fever is surely gripping everyone. It’s going to be one big party in Brazil. We pick out our Top Ten Football related songs to get your party going over here. These songs are a must-have in your playlist for this summer. So, here it goes.

Known as “La Copa de La Vida” in Spanish; this song is THE best when it comes to football related songs. It was the FIFA anthem in 1998. Sung by Ricky Martin, it was an instant hit throughout the globe. A definite must-have in your playlist this summer and there is absolutely no doubt that it will be played during sporting events for years to come.

While Campione is not as popular as some of the other songs in this list, it can definitely get your adrenaline going and your heart racing. The song concentrates on how there can be only one champion. You can very easily fall in love with this song, as it is a high tempo song and perfect for World Cup night-outs or parties.

Waka Waka needs no introduction. With over 600 million YouTube hits for this song it is definitely the most popular song on the list. It was one of the songs for World Cup’10 and focused on the hosts, Africa. Waka Waka has great video with a number of players featuring in it. The first scene is a bang on to give you goose bumps every time.

Wavin’ Flag was the FIFA anthem for 2010 World Cup. This song celebrates Africa and inspires the young to lead their country to glory at the World Cup Finals. It was on top of charts for many weeks even after the World Cup. Another must-have in your playlist.

5. Enrique - Can You Hear Me
Can You Hear Me was the official anthem for Euro’08. Enrique performed at the final between Germany and Spain. It was written specially for the event and turned out to be a huge hit among the fans. People loved this song and it even proved to be a lucky charm for Spain who went on to lift the cup.
6. Kasabian - Heroes
6. Kasabian - Heroes
Originally a song of David Bowie; Heroes was produced again by Kasabian for the World Cup’06 in Germany. The song concentrates on the players are regarded as ‘heroes’ if they win the World Cup for their nation. It was very popular in Germany and ‘almost’ inspired them to World Cup glory.
7. Shakira - Hips Don’t Lie

Another Shakira song, and in spite of the fact that the lyrics have absolutely nothing to do with football, it was hands down the best performance by anyone during any World Cup. This electric performance got the crowd going and ultimately set the stage for a great final. You just can’t take your eyes off Shakira in this video.

Although this was not produced for any sporting events and did not feature as the anthem for any of the events, it is till related to football as it was widely used for EPL promos and pre-match shows. You’re surely gonna love this one.
9. Elvis vs JXL - A Little Less Conversation

Made famous by one of the best Nike Ads ever, this song has a great tune to it. The video is star studded. It is pure entertainment. You just cannot NOT watch the whole video. The song doesn’t have particularly good lyrics and maybe that’s why isn’t higher up on the list.
10. Vangelis - Anthem

“Anthem” was the FIFA anthem for 2002 World Cup(Sounds Weird, I know! xP). Produced by the Greek composer Vangelis, this trance number became popular during the World Cup in Japan and South Korea. It concentrates on the spirit of football across the globe and not just one nation.
