Love is a celebration. It is living life in dazed intoxication. It is passion. It is madness; but it is an insult to call it that. Love is celebrating life every day, every moment. But if Love is a constant celebration, is it actually necessary to have a specific day when people are expected to celebrate Love? True, Valentine’s Day in the present scenario has become more of a commercial holiday intended solely for economic interests, but in essence it will always be a celebration of Love. And it is indeed needed to serve as a reminder that Love exists, and to make place for Love in the hearts of people in this insecure world where Love is slowly becoming just a faithless word. And, well, celebrating something already being celebrated is double celebration isn’t it?
Love is seeing with eyes closed. It is about having blind faith and incomparable trust. It is believing. It is knowing that the other person will be there, no matter what. It is viewing life in pink.
Love is not about you. It is about the person you Love. It is loving that person no matter what and loving them unconditionally. It is loving them even when you hate them. If it is not this, it is not Love. Maybe it is Love, but it is not magic. And so it is not ultimate. Yes, Love can happen many times, but we aspire for the once-in-a-lifetime kind of Love: Love, which consumes every
bit of your being. Love, which is like breathing. Without which, there is no breath.
If you believe in Love, you’ve got to believe in Valentine’s Day. Even being single does not mean you can’t appreciate the feeling of Love. With so much Love in the air, how can you not have it affect you?
Being single on Valentine’s Day is having hope doubled because each one takes you further and brings you a step closer to your story. There is no point rushing into love because it’s all about finding magic.
Every story has a time. Every untold story is a story waiting to happen. All those who have loved and lost, don’t stop believing in Love. It just wasn’t your time. It wasn’t the right story. Heaven’s got a plan for you. Love exists. It is not just the stuff of Fairy Tales.
Believe in Love, and it will come to you.
