By Anisha Anil Chadha After taking the punk route last year, this year’s theme for the Met Gala was anything but punk, it was ‘White Tie and Decorations’ paying homage to Charles James, America’s first and best known couturier. This time’s theme couldn't have been any easier or classier for the Met attendees but still many managed to mess it up. And while a few did live up to the expectations, they were easily overpowered by the numerous fashion disasters that were seen on the red carpet. While some looks made us feel that they belonged to a different event or theme, others just had us wondering, ’What were they thinking?’. So here are the 10 Worst Dressed Stars at Met Gala 2014:

By Aishwarya Menon When hearing someone mention spring or summer, or both in the same sentence, the first image that pops up in your head in terms of outfits can either be of vivid colors, bold prints and fun statements, or it can be of pure white outfits, lightness of fabrics and a sense of serenity. If you happen to belong to the second category, you’ll be happy to know that the spring staple isn't going anywhere this season.
This spring, all-white outfits are being envisioned as statements of flawless style and impeccable taste. While the trend has just started taking over the streets, it won’t be long until everyone starts thinking about filling their wardrobes with white. By Aishwarya Menon The women's suit has become the talking point again. Angelina Jolie's red carpet appearance in a black-and-white tux had the world going gaga. It's a brilliant take on the power dressing and men's wear-inspired trends that are firing up ramps.
Why wear a suit? It's a statement-making piece of clothing that has seen many women assert her strength in corporate corridors. Flirty, Formal, Sexy. You can look strong and daring in a pant-suit,boyish in a short suit, ladylike in a skirt-suit & glamorous in a tuxedo. By Nilanjana Biswas On my recent visit to Goa the one thing I came across every single time was women dressed in neon. A little neon here and a little neon there, trust me, neon was there everywhere. Be it tank tops, accessories or apparels, these women could not resist the temptation to unite themselves with bright neon shades. I was even surprised to see girls wearing lipsticks of those colours.
By Anisha Anil Chadha The awards season was brought to a start last night with the Life OK Screen Awards 2014. While the awards must have been exciting, the fashion on the red carpet was meh. There were surely a few who took our breath away and hardly any disasters, but all in all, the clothing was just not up to par. We really hope to see more exciting styles in the upcoming awards. Here are last night's looks : 1.) Sonakshi Sinha The Lootera actress was hands down one of the best dressed actresses last night. She wore a nude Amit GT dress, with jewellery from House of Chic(ring) and Viange(earrings). She completed her look with nude pumps, side swept hair and hot pink lips. We are absolutely digging this look! |
